Just a little.

My point was that both (OmniFocus and BBedit) are made by canonical
mac shops and used by many power users (I use them both, though I
prefer Textmate's syntax highlighting), but that new users seem to
prefer the second generation apps (Things and Textmate).

I think OmniFocus defined the space for GTD apps at the time, but
Things developed a more focused app and a clearer GUI. Letters could
be the 'OmniFocus' of new email apps, but I hope it can feel more like
Things.
