Really: I still haven't heard the case for why ".app" should be
required, just for why it can be understood or tolerated, and for why
it at least may not be confusing to its intended crowd. And I can't
make the mental leap from "things that won't confuse us" to "things
that, given sane alternatives, we should do"; unlike most things that
are different about Letters, there's no significant upside to ".app"
when in context.
