I guess what I'm asking, is what is the event that you're trying to
record, and why?
At the breakfast table I open my MacBook - it awakes from sleep, and
Letters starts "fetching" emails from the server.
When I get to work, I boot up my Mac, and again Letters starts
fetching
emails.
Why?
Saves me the effort of manual bookkeeping / timelogging, since Mail
is
always the first action in the morning and the last action in the
evening. Always.
Since the e-mail is stored server side,
this is a client issue. Date fetched will be stored only for the local
copy on my Mac. It never gets synched back to the server.
And I don't see how it buys you anything over date received
I can look a week or month back and see that I fetched that mail at
8:30 - though it was received (IMAP server inbox) two hours earlier,
and sent another 4 hours earlier.
