Actually, Actually... just a bit of trivia for those that hate the fact that OS X contains a command line.... so did the first incarnation of the beloved Classic Mac OS. That's right, the pre-System 1 versions of the Mac OS had a command line shell (the shell was pulled from the public releases, because Apple just didn't want it there... why... because it gave the users too much power, and they wanted to have total control over the user experience... anti-big brother INDEED!) One of these days, I will pull out my System 0.97 install disks... boot up one of my 128's and have a looksy to see if that one made it out the door with the command line still intact (rumor has it it did... I just don't recall it, so I can't say for sure... but then, in 1984 when I got my first mac, I was 11, and more interested in playing then paying attention to details). -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
