Maybe nothing - this is being sent to you by Earthlink, and I did get in 
the past those network stream error messages, but I now think it was just 
something flaky on Earthlink's side, because I haven't changed my 
settings (Custom Settings-enhance Emailer 2.0v3) and it's working fine 
now. I think sometimes Earthlink does updates/work on their local 
dial-ups and that that may be/have been the source of the errors.

For what it's worth, my outgoing email and incoming settings are:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]   <-- Email account in Emailer's Account setup 
window
mail.earthlink.net           <-- SMTP server in Emailer's Account setup 
window
[EMAIL PROTECTED]       <-- Email address in Emailer's Account setup 
window
