I am not sure it has anything to do with the OS. I have used Emailer under 7.5, 8, 8.5 and 9.1. I have noticed the "pitch" and "tempo" of the sound slowing if Virtual Memory is on. With it off, the sound is what I consider normal (quick and high?). >- Why do some of the icons change in the same circumstances? Eg, some >folder > icons now appear to be window shades. Haven't seen this. Are you talking in the Browser window or where? >- Why does the list font and point size for the pull-down folder list >change? I think this a "bug" that I noticed when I upgraded OS to 9.1. According to one of the Emailer 2 development team, there is no way to fix this. >I run the version 2.0 v3 under OS's 8.6 and 9.2. What is the symptom of your corruption? Generally, I suggest making a backup copy FAST. I do this by copying the "Mail" folder to a separate disk/partition. Then, you might try to force a rebuild by removing the "Index" from the Mail folder (with Emailer off) then relaunching Emailer. This causes a rebuild of the index where most of the corruption seems to occur. Ken Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without. ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
