Hmm. That could be it. I never used Virtual Memory prior to OS 8. Then again, I didn't notice any other sounds changing. Wonder why it's peculiar to Emailer. After getting used to the "quick and high" all these years, it just sounds "broke" :-) > >>- Why do some of the icons change in the same circumstances? In the browser window the "View:" folder pull down on the left was a folder in 7.6.1. I tried both the "Option-B" rebuilds. They seem to have fixed most of the problems, but when I create a new folder it already has the same items in it as another folder... almost like it was an "alias". Strange. I have a lot of folders and subfolders... I wonder if there is any limit. Also, the database got really large... I exported a lot of old stuff (hence my "Archive Script") to speed up the rebuid. Anybody know what the database limits are? Our marketing copy has around 57,000 emails in it. >Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without. My wife absolutely hates that saying :-) In fact, when they were younger my kids modified it for her: "Buy a new one, every day. Spend your money, it's OK." BTW, my version goes "Make it do, wear it out, use it up, do without". I guess it's what you get used to... like the Emailer sound :-) ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
