Actually you were right, I didn't change my default mail client to Mailsmith. Mainly because I simply looked up the Filemaker Pro-supported email clients in Help and didn't see mailsmith. Having said that, I just did a test with mailsmith as my preferred client and guess what?.... it didn't work.
