I send out about 50 "humour" messages each week to friends as a "group" and my ISP passes them but I always get the error message "There were more recipients than the service supports. The remaining recipients will be resent" as it sends 30 at a time. I have, in the past, sent over 200 this way but I broke them into several groups of 50. If it's of interest I now use: http://www.mail-list.com Mark (the list server owner) charges $100 setup fee then $100 a year. At present I'm mailing some 4500 people twice a month so it's worth it to me.
