I noticed someone else on here posting a question about [EMAIL PROTECTED]
config &
RoadRunner service. But it didn't quite address my issue.
I use [EMAIL PROTECTED] at work. We have a T-1 there and life is good. My home
e-mail was on Comcast who was bought out by Time-Warner. So, now my
personal account is on RoadRunner. I'm trying to configure [EMAIL PROTECTED] to
check my personal e-mail just like it always has for me. (BTW, I'm using
the SMTP Auth modification of [EMAIL PROTECTED]). I have double-checked my
settings but I consistently get the following message when I try to send
mail:
Connecting to Internet using Account "RoadRunner"
Sending mail using "smtp-server.tx.rr.com"
** SMTP server error "502 Command is locally disabled"
I'm thinking that RoadRunner must be doing more than simple SMTP
authentication. I'm having no problems receiving mail. I suspect they are
doing IP checking, which I guess means I'm hosed. Unless someone else has
a suggestion.
