Dear Listers,

Just a thought Marc - as I too am experiencing duplicate messages.
I've been thinking its because I have Set-Up in Claris hold my mail on
the server for 2 days. But I've been wondering if problems arise from
the way I work with incoming mail ? I am usually unable to read, file
or clear the CE 'desktop'. That is:
My desktop always has some mail there and is never totally cleared
I read selected messages on download, but then they may sit there

because I need reminding or havn't had time to file.
I'm good at deleting unwanted mail, some is immediate, otherwise I
list
by subject and delete faster that way, or file if no need to
read at this
          time.
Another habit is to place reminders in the outbox as a draft. I was
once
told by my guru to empty the outbox to avoid a problem and it
          worked.

Am I worrying unnecessarily about all this?

Re Spotlight - I am finding it comes up with a lot of irrelevant stuff
that doesn't relate to the search word - could it be that the search word
is embedded in those titles?
