I am very sorry to say that the multiple messages syndrome has not stopped for me since telling Spotlight to ignore the Claris folder. But I do have a new twist that might tell us something.
Interestingly, for the first time that I can recall, I picked up 2 identical messages on my wifi PDA this evening (which has been instructed to leave messages on the server). CE later retrieved these duplicates and then a triplicate on the next connection.
