The problem is that I use different addresses to talk to different correspondents. (I don't have all that many E-mail addresses, only 8 at the moment, but it's still enough to complicate things when I get a message through one address which I want to send to somebody who knows me on a different address. (As, for example, this address is one which I only use for subscribing to mailing lists. If I get a message on a different account, I can't forward it to this list unless I send it from *this* account, because none of my other addresses are subscribed to this list.) And, to make things even more complicated, right now I have my personal accounts set up on Emailer on Tertius here (my old Mac which can't run OS X), and my work-related addresses set up on Thunderbird on Oholiab (the new-to-me Mac which can runs OS X), which means that if I get something in one client, the easiest way for me to pass it on is to E-mail it to an address on the other machine. Kind of a nuisance... Eventually, I'll probably migrate my personal stuff to the new box, but I'd stil rather have a port of Emailer to run natively on OS X (and handle stuff I need for work, like encryption) so I can keep all my mail in one client without having to give up Emailer's spiffiness.
