I left E-mailer behind several years ago as well. We upgraded, left emulation
behind and have rarely looked back. The downside has been that with the
passing of E-mailer, I have fewer reasons to get on the G4 iMac, which is now
getting old and slow. Neither Safari, Firefox or iTunes are being updated for
OS X 10.5.8, and my family is more prone to use their own computers - or even
their phones - than the central family desktop. Mail is all handled through
the web.

This means that, since I spend most of my time on a PC laptop at work, I'm less
exposed to the Mac world, and not so handy anymore. I don't even know what I
don't know about the Mac OS any more. My wife has a new Mac Book Pro, but I've
barely touched it other than to help install a few things. I worry about the
old Mac dying, and know we should get a new one, but lots of other things have
been taking priority. Especially since it's not a daily tool for us, other than
making use of it to sync and charge iPods. (Even my iPhone 5 won't dock with
it.)

E-mailer was a great tool, and lived a prolonged useful life. Thanks to all who
helped make that possible, and kept this community alive as well!
