I have had some further thoughts about the bldc component. Currently it understands encoders and an exhaustive list of 3-wire hall sensor patterns. It might be useful for it to (bidirectionally) handle the Fanuc 4-wire system (Red cap?) Does anyone know where this is documented? I have googled but come up blank so far.
