I haven't fully digested the nuts and bolts of this discussion, but part of
it made me think about a discussion from a while back.
I had discussed ways to decouple the screw comp from the joint feedback,
making the screw comp a seperate hal module. In this way, everything from
commanded position, to axis feedback would all be seperate hal modules that
you could tie and tap as desired. The way it sits, the feedback line is
kinda hardcoded.
It may not help the joint coupling problem, but may spark some thought for a
feedback solution. If this proves irrelevant, then disregard it.
