Chris, If I can get this to work, the intent is to get a remote user interface which will run on almost anything, various flavors of Linux, Windows, etc. Of course I have taken two shots at it in the past, so no promises.

There are big changes coming to linuxcnc if we are to use current technology. eg GTK3 and PyGObject and GTK Shell or Unity shell.
