I have managed to get Xenomai runnning on the Udoo baord, and LinuxCNC is compiled.
I can get as far as the config picker, then get this: Starting LinuxCNC... io started halcmd loadusr io started Can't execute TASK program Shutting down and cleaning up LinuxCNC... Cleanup done The log says: Jan 18 22:11:36 udoo msgd:0: startup instance=inst0 pid=7104 flavor=xenomai rtlevel=1 usrlevel=1 halsize=512000 shm=Posix gcc=4.6.3 git=v2.6.0~pre~unified-build-candidate-3~d743579 Jan 18 22:11:39 udoo msgd:0: msgd:0: rtapi_app exit detected - shutting down Jan 18 22:11:39 udoo msgd:0: normal shutdown - global segment detached Not a lot to go on. This is the run-in-place version. Wondering if it was a permissions problem I tried "sudo linuxcnc" and that failed in a different way, which is also the case for an installed version of LinuxCNC on this machine: LINUXCNC - 2.6.0~pre Error in startup script: can't read "exec_prefix": no such variable while executing "variable RTLIB_DIR ${exec_prefix}/lib/linuxcnc" -- atp If you can't fix it, you don't own it. http://www.ifixit.com/Manifesto ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ CenturyLink Cloud: The Leader in Enterprise Cloud Services.
