My memory (somewhat fuzzy) was that it was non-consecutive axes; specifically it was an XYZB config (we tried it on sam's machine). Our testing showed that the same problems occurred with XZ lathes. I don't remember exactly what the symptoms were but it was an early and obvious failure, like not being able to home and run gcode. I do not think it was a problem with the config (and therefore not with the autoconversion) but maybe I just didn't figure it out. I haven't tried running it lately.
