Hi Rene:
     I can't answer whether there are any plans for jerk limitation, but there
would definitely be a benefit to high speed machining if the trajectory planner
could monitor jerk or the first or more of snap, crackle & pop, which are
further derivatives of acceleration. Accuracy would be improved if the machine
knew to slow down, even a little, when encountering high values of jerk or
higher derivatives. Modifying or bending the path would be bad but slowing
down would be fine.

 Hi,
 Are there any plans on jerk limitation? During my research I
 found this:

https://github.com/cnc-club/linuxcnc/commit/c7f6861909a6e2e491d38059a1b7d26d91f4a8a0

<https://github.com/cnc-club/linuxcnc/commit/c7f6861909a6e2e491d38059a1b7d26d91f4a8a0>
 Has anyone ever seen or even tested this?

 Rene
