Moses: We started this discussion so I will press my luck a bit.... Is my understanding right that you are the release manager of 2.8? If so could you publicly decide / announce a rough time line of release? I see Andy has pushed his spindle work to master so was the decision to release later ? Did I miss that?
I believe, (at least soft) deadline are necessary to keep this project alive and thriving in the long term.
