Hi, I also have a question about 'dated references', but my example will be from EN60601-1-2:2001 (the product family EMC standard for medical devices).
Clause 36.201.1.a states that equipment shall be classified in accordance with "CISPR 11" (exceptions are noted elsewhere in the standard). Annex ZA states that "For undated references, the latest edition of the publication referred to applies (including amendments)." Annex ZA also cross-references CISPR 11 to EN55011:1998 Question - which is the 'reference'? CISPR 11 which is undated, or EN55011:1998, which is dated?
