Nick,

Don't apologize for your sensitivity - this is a pet peeve of mine as  
well. The terms are clearly laid out in the Directives and should be  
correctly used. I also agree with your comments regarding other types  
of certificates.

My clients have enough trouble understanding the differences between  
Certification, Field Evaluation and Engineering Review services.  
Complicating matters by using incorrect terminology helps no one.
