Second hand info. A colleague of mine, Mark Nave, was hired as an EMC engineer by Network Appliance in the early 2000s. He took them to regularly passing the first time through.
After awhile, the VP who hired him retired or moved on, and the new VP didn¹t have the history of not passing changing to passing. He questioned why they had even hired Mark what did he do for them? Mark got angry, and left. End of story.
