I'm not sure I understand what you mean by handle not in sync with movement when talking about moving fast and long distances.
If I was moving 24.005 inches I would add 24.005 inches to the distance on the readout and start cranking till it was close to that position. I would expect the machine would stop when I stop cranking with no windup and then I would move the handle slowly till I got to the exact position. My point is the readout is still accurate whether the handwheel 'stops without windup' or not and the hanwheel doesn't 'windup' if you go slow (meaning you could move '3 clicks' and get exactly .003 tenths) BTW my Okuma lathe has a 4 position joystick for rapid moves and a jog wheel that the jog-increments are selectable by changing the feed override selector. The bed is 5 feet long so the joystick is really needed! _________________________________________________________________ Take A Break From The Cold And Have Some Fun Indoors http://local.live.com/?mkt=en-ca/?v=2&cid=A6D6BDB4586E357F!142 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
