I found that the following flags allowed me to build a binary, but I
don't know what to do with it:
running from the emc2 "src" directory,
gcc -Wl,-rpath,/usr/local/jepler/src/emc2/lib -DMAIN -I../include \
emc/kinematics/genhexkins.c -L../lib -lposemath
at least the "-Wl,-rpath,..." argument will be different depending on
your installation of emc.
