I used the automated Ubuntu update. This brought EMC up to 2.1.7 and it seems to work fine now. Thank you Jon and Chris. I turned my first part, the lathe_pawn.ngc which seemed to come out as expected. I only had a tool with a 60 degree point, so the back side of the tool cut into some of the features. This is probably be a good time to thank everyone that make EMC possible. Thank you.
