If you are using a 5I20 and you just need 12V-36V isolated I/O, we have a couple of I/O expanders coming out. First is the 7I64, the 7I64 has 24 opto isolated inputs and 24 isolated 4A MOSFET outputs and connects to the 5I20 via SPI (3 feet max) or 5Mbit/sec RS-485 (~100 feet max cat5). Next is the 7I66 with 80 isolated inputs and the same interface options. The SPI pinout allows 5 expanders on one 50 pin cable (split into 5x10 conductor cables) Peter Wallace Mesa Electronics (\__/) (='.'=) This is Bunny.
