Max,

Thanks again for your contributions to the STG driver.

I found the STG2 manual online!  It looks like you should set J5 to
"latched" and J4 to 5 msec.  Then put P2 pin 46 (or if you look at
another page in the manual, it's pin 45) in your estop chain somehow.

You might need to specifically clear CNTRL1/WDTOUT in the driver when
it starts.  I'm not sure about that from reading the docs.
