I want to move g-code files to and from the Yasnac with a laptop. It
looks like the terminal emulator and the tape codes are different.

You had a BTR on your HNC? I sold my HNC BTR on eBay for a tidy sum. The
Yasnac's appear to have the BTR hardware built in.
