Even though my motor is rated at 1.25 hp, I don't think it has enough torque to qualify for wood routing using a bit larger than 1/4" or so assuming direct drive. I think the best use would be to connect it to some sort of high speed engraving spindle via belt drive. I will keep my eyes peeled for a small belt drive spindle - maybe something along the lines of a Wolfgang spindle: http://cgi.ebay.ca/Package-Deal-for-the-TB-350S-CNC-Router- Spindle_W0QQitemZ180347397981QQihZ008QQcategoryZ25295QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ _trksidZp1742.m153.l1262 Tom ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Crystal Reports - New Free Runtime and 30 Day Trial Check out the new simplified licensign option that enables unlimited royalty-free distribution of the report engine for externally facing server and web deployment. http://p.sf.net/sfu/businessobjects _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
