I recently bought some parts from Mesa (they arrived a couple of days ago) and I found them very helpful. They were out of stock of a couple of cards but they delivered well within their estimated time.
I did need to fax my card details but they didn't ask for copies of the card itself. Maybe it depends on who you end up talking to. I wouldn't worry about giving them your card details.
