I have one of those (https://www.machineryhouse.com.au/Products?stockCode=M691) - it has a spring loaded plate, an LED and a 3v button cell battery. Complete the circuit and the LED lights. I removed the button, drilled a hole in the side, and added a cable to make it a touch off probe (initially I used it with my manual mill and DRO for touch off - exactly 50mm high). The top of the plate is all scuffed up from raming a tool into it - twice while developing touch off software, and once by jogging into it a bit too fast. I need to have it reground. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download Intel® Parallel Studio Eval Try the new software tools for yourself.
