I found that wasn't my best-ever idea too, but I persisted as I had
nowhere else really to put it.

I think that swapping the rubbber-insulated motor wire for
armoured/shielded wire into proper glands probably had the biggest
effect, but I also added an input filter and ferrite beads on the
outputs.
The HAL debounce function on the limit switches is probably worth
adding anyway, just because nuisance tripping is so inconvenient, and
a mS or so delay on a limit tripping (or even a home switch at
latching speed) really is neither here nor there.

It has been working well for a fair while now.
