Selling EMC would be silly anyway.  Trying to hide it under your own
GUI in a closed box would be the only way to go.  Selling integration
services would be doable, although it does seem like a difficult sell
given the costs of motors and drives.   There are a number of
companies in that business already, Seimens seems to be the one I see
a lot, although people talk about retrofitting fanuc and a number of
other controls as well.

I got prices from the FSF  for the GNU software in the early '90s,
their software was only cheap if you were used to spending thousands
for a c compiler.  Sure it was free, but getting a copy wasn't.
