But, we have had a few momentary interruptions a year since we moved here. I remember one regional outage that lasted for several hours, and we had a massive ice storm 2 or 3 years ago that caused about a 14-hour outage, Recently, we had a storm that probably caused a pinhole in the insulation of our underground feed, and we lost one phase to just OUR house for about 24 hours, until the utility could get to it. That is over about 22 years at this location.
I really think that our power is quite reliable. I know our university has more reliable power, my desktop computer there has occasionally run over a year without reboot (no UPS).
