The essence of gantrykins is assigning 2 or more joints to 1 axis. So what original poster wants is moving 2 motors together with Y axis commands. You are suggesting to introduce V axis or A axis as secondary Y, which is far away from the gantrykins purpose. Tom, let me know, if it works with AXES = 4 and COORDINATES = XYZA in INI file.
