cnczone - ive seen that before somehow.

the task manager of winxp has a process priority setting, with one of the 
choices being 'realtime'.  never tried it for anything.  but the realtime mode 
of operation in linux is still a general hardware timeshare approach, no?  
..including stuff like keyboard and mouse.  i remember the original macintosh 
computers could still do the mouse pointer on the screen as long as the ics on 
the motherboard were not dead.  that's what i imagine realtime to be ideally.
