Other than my wanting to call attention to the wiki, which AFAIK doesn't
have any barbs buried in the TOS, Jeremy, no offense was taken or intended.

Coming up on 78 yo, I sometimes go back and read what I typed the next day
and only then discover that I was pretty abrasive, and this is a prime
example. My apologies.

I think most of us hit the wiki to see if there is something there that
reduces the drudgery of the day to day code carving before embarking on the
DIY effort to drill yet another set of holes or whatever.

I have an idea or 2, and code that works with the output of eagle fed
through pcb2gcode that facilitates the milling of nicely registered double
sided pcb's when no well calibrated tool changer is fitted. But the code
requires fabricating a board pallet with a registration tube in one corner,
makes heavy use of the G38.probe command, getting the results of that
directly from the numbered array in memory, and is more of an eagle helper
than an LinuxCNC helper, possibly even some would say off-topic, so I've
put my amateurish efforts up on my own web page in the sig. Anybody that
wants to is welcome to grab the code if only for the S&G entertainment
value. It was, and is, the best way I could come up with to solve the
double sided pcb problem. Even I was surprised to see where I had drilled
about 65% of the way through the board, turned the board over and drilled
the holes that same 65% through from the other side to complete them,
inspected the holes with a small microscope without being able to detect a
miss-registered ledge.

And ex bro-in-law once said that "it was good enough for the girls he went
with". :-)

If someone thinks that might be suitable for the wiki, I'll see if I can
get it there. It would help if actual photo's could be uploaded but I've
never tried that.

Cheers, Gene
