Now I have to hide my copy http://www.collection.archivist.info/searchv13.php?searchstr=scraping I can confirm it has lots of info Another tome referenced a lot is Testing machine tools( 8th edition) for the use of machine tool makers, users, inspectors and plant engineers G Schlesinger Pergamon Press Table of contents of 4th ed at www.library.wisc.edu/selectedtocs/cb0501.pdf This is a thin book with diagrams showing the measurements one should take to confirm the machine is accurate I did a quick google and found no prices( when I looked a year or two ago I saw a £400 price), this book needs rewriting in light of modern technology but the values are valid for chinese mills and lathes.
