A commercial pendant could be ok on a knee mill if you have the holder for it but I've found just mounting the MPG to the table and having a selector switch for each axis and for increments much easier to operate. I use a joypad on my plasma for rough positioning but it would be awkward to use/store on my BP knee mill.
