not exactly, but look at the motion.pause-at-motion pin here: 
http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?Jog-While-Paused

it says at which motion type the jog _stopped_; but it should be easy to add a 
pin to display the current motion mode in a pin
