In that case, ignore me, and listen to PCW :-)

Wire the MPG as suggested, then just

net X-jog hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.enc0 => axis.0.jog-counts
setp axis.0.jog-enable 1
net Z-jog hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.enc1 => axis.2.jog-counts
setp axis.2.jog-enable 1

You will need to set the 7i76 into the correct hardware mode, I suspect.
