Chris, I was mistaken. There is indeed a 7i84 in the second combo box. I can select that but then I get the wrong designation for the I/O bits. That is, I get hm2_5i25.0.7i84.0.1.input-00 rather than hm2_5i25.0.7i84.0.0.input-00 (for example). I assume that is because, as you say, I cannot select the 7i84 on the Connector 3 tab? Or is it just a bug with the numbering (starting at 1 rather than 0)?
