Hi Rick I looked at you stuff. There are two ways to do flame type of machines. One is as you did it making use of Gcode control. The other is the way we control plasma machines. We write a component that does all the power control on the fly. So we just have a M3 and the rest is done by code. For plasma we use THC (torch height control) and laser we do power control but the theory is very similar. This machine is not designed to do raster engraving at all but only to cut vector style parts. A machine that large does not like to be jerked at the rate that engraving requires.
