A foot out, my square is in 1/16ths. For this, that never gets to rotate speed so it won't fly. ;-) I go by the errors I see. If the right hand finger is to narrow, my board width is too big & vice versa. Keeping up with wood as it gets "acclimated" to your shop can be quite a chase at times.
