I have one of those MC's from Lowes, but as pin meters go it doesn't have a solid reading if the MC is below around 5.2%. So despite all the evidence that its not quite wringing wet, it sure isn't acting dry except for the surface. So, using the code I wrote, I have 4 of the 6 breadboard ends about 1/2 done. The finishing will be in figuring out how to drill the rest of the way thru since a 1/8" mill is too short to drill all the way thru to the air in the spline slot. So It looks like I'll have "flat face" a 3/16" or 7/32" drill, (clearance for a #10 by 4" deck screw) remount the wood on the mill table and see if I can drill all the way thru, driving it from the keyboard without the drill walking away from the slot wall. Then see if I can keep duplicating that until the movement slot is all the way thru. Last time I did this, I did it by hand, not at all well, a genuine PIMA. Thanks Greg.
