many thks Seb, i have another pc with debian to play with, in this lucid particular pc i tested debian wheezy (original pae686 kernel), but got insane latency wich i wasnt able to cure. (for everyone reference was: mb asrock 775i65G intel P4 prcsor). thanks again regards rck
