3 weeks in and I am still waiting on a bag of bypass caps I bought to 
finish up this ATS667 based encoder for this lathe. By the end of the 
week I'll be putting 1 uf, 16 volt tantalum's, even physically smaller, 
in it just to see if they will work.

Container ships are lined up out on the bay's waiting to be docked & 
unloaded. We've turned into a consumer society here, and need to build 
bigger ports to handle the inflow from China.  And labor was doing a 
slowdown too.  Not much noise in the media, they're too busy bashing 
each other to notice the Christmas stuff isn't filling the back room at 
Wallies at its usual full by mid-October rate.
