Does the robot run as if it where a machine tool?  That is, you
command it to go to some location and it does, or does the robot use
some kind of sensor for feedback like vision or force?    In the first
case, run a second copy of EMC.  If yu are using sensor feedback, post
details, the answer is a lot more complex.
